About the Author

Sax is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has taught creative writing at the University of Iowa, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Sax is a recipient of the Whiting Award and the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. His work has been published in The New Yorker, Harper's, and The Atlantic.
